Love'n' my toys

Well these past months I have been doing whatever I can to save money. I got a giftcard from my boss at Christmas and hadn't used it, so I decided I found a book I wanted to buy and I could get it, I had a little extra left and Rylynn loves animals....the toy was on sale, and I got points through Memolink for shopping...so it was a win win.

Anyway....long story, Rylynn is enjoying her new fridge toy, we hope it keeps her occupied while I am cooking, we will see.

Pink Eye Anyone?

Well last week we lived in the doctor's office. On Tuesday we went to the Ear specialist and they told us Rylynn needed tubes. I think that she missed the doctors so much she wanted more, because the next day she woke up with pink eye!

Indy Baby Expo

So a couple weekends ago, my sister Mirissa and I headed down to Indianapolis for the Indy Baby Expo. And of course we had to take our babies. The expo was giving out gift bags to the first 50 people that arrived and it was worth $500! Mirissa wanted to be there bright and early so we got up early and guess what?????

We were number 51! We were so disappointed, but we had a nice time. The kids got to play, draw pictures, paint, and we got lots of free things and some coupons, so that is always fun.

Happy Birthday Ryan!

Ok so we are a little slow, Ryan's birthday was on the 8th of October. The weekend before his birthday I took him to a Notre Dame game. We have never been to a game and I have tried to get tickets since we have been dating! We had a great time. We visited several sites on campus including the bookstore where we made a couple purchases! We had to add to Rylynn's wardrobe and would you guess I had NOTHING Notre Dame prior to that day! Anyway we wanted to share with you what we did on that day.

Enjoying the nice weather while we can!

Well I am sure all of you have been enjoying this wonderful weather. Last Thursday we took advantage of it and went outside and cleaned out the car and played with Rylynn in the front yard. She had a good time playing with all her outside toys. She cracked us up a she laughed and did silly things.Rylynn has brought such joy to Ryan and I's life that we can't even begin to explain. We have enjoyed and treasured each and every moment that we have with her.

An evening with the cousins!

Last weekend, Rylynn got to spend some time in Rossville. She doesn't get to see my side of the family as much as I would like, so we went onFriday an spent the night until Saturday. She got to see her aunt Jo, uncle Adam and cousins Hunter and Colten for supper. The kids had a nice time together.

Too Cute to resist

Ok so this picture was taken in early July, but we just got it from a friend developed correctly, and it is SO ADORABLE. We do have several other pictures that I would love to share, so hopefully I will get a chance sometime this weekend to work on that! But I do hope you agree with me on this picture.

Mothers

I received this in a email today and wanted to share, it is so sweet.

MOTHERS
Real Mothers don't eat quiche; they don't have time to make it.
Real Mothers know that their kitchen utensils are probably in the sandbox.
Real Mothers often have sticky floors, filthy ovens and happy kids.
Real Mothers know that dried play dough doesn't come out of carpets.
Real Mothers don't want to know what the vacuum just sucked up.
Real Mothers sometimes ask 'Why me?' and get their answer when a little voice says, 'Because I love you best.'
Real Mothers know that a child's growth is not measured by height or years or grade...It is marked by the progression of Mommy to Mom to

The beauty of a woman is not in the clothes she wears, the figure that she carries, or the way she combs her hair. The beauty of a woman must be seen from in her eyes, because that is the doorway to her heart, the place where love resides. The beauty of a woman is not in a facial mole, but true beauty in a woman is reflected in her soul. It is the caring that she lovingly gives, the passion that she shows, and the beauty of a woman with passing years only grows!

Go Irish!

For those of you that don't know, any children born into our home will have to be supporting the Irish. And of course they have to be showing their team spirit. Though Rylynn and I were going shopping, she had her windsuit on Saturday morning at the soccer game, but of course she got dirty, so we came home and got her in her jersey. She didn't enjoy watching the game, because she was shopping with mommy, but everyone thought she looked so cute and of course Daddy agreed and also believes that Notre Dame won because Rylynn had her jersey on!
